Baked Camembert Spaghetti Recipe
Recently, whilst doing my weekly Asda shop, I was stuck for recipe ideas. If you haven’t seen and for anyone who doesn’t shop with Asda, they have a “good living” section on there online groceries to help with such situations.
Basically, they just have a bunch of recipes that you can add to your basket. Normally it goes almost completely unused. But being as stuck for inspiration as I was I thought id give it a try.
That’s when I seen this recipe for a whole baked camembert with spaghetti. That’s right. A whole camembert, with a side of spaghetti, talk about good living right?
As odd as the recipe sounds I had to try it out, you don’t just swipe past a whole baked camembert with spaghetti. That’s not your everyday recipe. Especially in my house anyway.
So, with that in mind, I thought its only right to share it here. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shared a food recipe, what better food come back then a whole damn camembert baked with spaghetti?
Gooey, Crunchy, and Cheesy
Yes, it sounds odd. But this recipe sure has a lot of depth, even with its simplicity.
There’s somewhat of a beauty of a bunch of different textures working together in harmony. I mean, I don’t want to get to portentous or poetic here, it is a baked camembert at the end of the day. However, I just need to get across the fact that it has a wonderful texture.
The baked camembert has this intense cheesy and gooey-ness about it. Then the top of chopped hazelnuts just adds the perfect amount of crunch.
Ease, Accessible, and Tasty
Furthermore, the main reason I really want to share this recipe is because of these 3 reasons;
Ease - Its super easy to make this meal. really, its just a bit of chopping, baking the camembert and boiling some spaghetti, it doesn’t get much easier then this. The whole recipe takes 25 minutes which is mainly just waiting around for camembert to bake.
Accessible - All the ingredients for this are no faff, cheap and accessible. With it being on Asda you can assume and assume correctly that all the ingredients can be picked up from them. However, I don’t think I can name a single supermarket where you wouldn’t be able to pick up these exact same ingredients.
Tasty - Finally and most importantly, does it taste nice? The answer is yes. The whole idea is that you twirl up some spaghetti and dip it in the baked camembert, in all honesty that was a bit of a messy faff so I just ended up scooping the camembert over the spaghetti to mix in. Which worked an absolute treat.
