4 Strictly Come Dancing Themed Cocktail Recipes
I have 4 of the best glitzy, glamourous and fun cocktails for you. You’re here looking for inspiration… It must be that time of year again when Strictly Come Dancing returns to our screens!
Weekly Excuse to have a mini party
So one thing that’s great about Strictly that doesn’t get enough attention is the fact that it’s televised on Saturday.
Some people see this as a negative because generally it means if you’re the social type of person, you have to re-watch it on the Sunday after already having everything spoiled.
But for the people who love an excuse not to go out on Saturday but still don’t want to miss out on the fun. This is perfect.
Afterall, it’s a show about glitter and dancing. What’s more Saturday then that?
Going out is expensive
But at the end of the day, all you’re doing is sitting on your sofa watching telly.
To make it a real Saturday extravaganza, you need to bring that Saturday “going-out” vibe to the comfort of your own home. Cocktails are a great way to do that.
We all love a cocktail, how can we not? But it’s no secret that they’re kind of expensive. You need to pay to travel to a bar, then you’re looking at spending way more then you intended just for a few cocktails. If you don’t like them you can’t do anything about it, there’s no personal touch, and when you finally want to get into your P.J’s you need to wait for an uber to get you home first.
So skip the hassle, the queues, and the waste of money and bring the cocktails to you by making them at home.
The Strictly Come Dancing Party Pack
Cocktails are a great way to get started. But there’s much more you can do to really make the most out of your Strictly Saturdays.
The reason I’m doing this in the first place is because every year I spend my Saturday locked indoors watching Strictly and every year I make it more and more of an event. Each week with drinks and games. Almost like a mini Strictly party every Saturday for 13 weeks.
This year I’m putting all of those props, games, and drinks into a pack which you can get so you’re able to have your own mini Strictly Saturday’s every week.
We’re talking drinking games, bingo cards, quizzes, decorations, pretty much everything you need to make this an event.
Check it out below.
It’s basically everything you would need to throw a Strictly party. But word of warning, be careful with that drinking game. It’s a killer!
You can also purchase it on Etsy if you prefer, check it out on Etsy here.
