In particular, the retelling of how one of the largest frauds to take place was that of fake wine and how Rudy Kurniawan single handily built a reputation as a trusted wine collector, before selling over $30 million dollars of his own fake bottled wine. Passing it of as rare and old wines.

Because of Rudy’s influence, old wine has more then tripled in price, meaning there is still $550 millions dollars of Rudy’s fake wine still in circulation. Which also makes up 20% of world wine. Meaning the high majority of rare and expensive wines are from Rudy’s own cellar. This is the story of how he did it…
